Hospitality Training Course: Housekeeping and Cleaning

For whom?
For anyone who wants to contribute to the dynamics of a professional kitchen, aimed at supporting chefs in
preparatory and executive tasks.
Participants will learn:
Practical skills :
Basic cooking techniques such as cutting, cooking, preparing the kitchen and closing.Hygiene and cleaning :
Working according to HACCP guidelines and tidying up the workplace.Jargon:
With the support of the Vaktaal app, participants learn basic Dutch and technical terms such as “mise en place” and “stirring, cutting, whisking.”
For whom?
For candidates who want to assist in service and contribute to a hospitable experience.
Participants will learn:

Operational tasks:
Clearing, cleaning and setting tables, pouring drinks, reading receipts, and inventory management. -
Posture and appearance:
The power of a friendly smile and positive communication. -
Jargon:
With the Vaktaal app, participants learn basic Dutch language and technical terms such as “routing” and “poleren.”

Participants will learn:

Practical skills:
Making beds, cleaning sanitary facilities and replenishing linen and toiletries. -
Hygiene and work organization:
The safe use of cleaning agents and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines. -
Jargon:
With the Vaktaalapp, participants learn the basics of the Dutch language and technical terms such as
“turn-down service (bed making)” and “linen room.”
